Cute Mary Jane Shoes...

Cue in the Mary Jane's song by Fergie or something on this one....I adore Mary Janes - I really, really do! And I adore these ones...they're cute and funky and really kind of retro!

I bought them at a funky boutique in DC...then ran a marathon and have not quite been able to stand them since. It's my feet - not the shoes. Needless to say...they are brand new and have never been worn - - other than to try them on and admire them in the mirror...only to be reminded that my feet no longer love heels of any sort.

They are a Size 7.5 - I usually wear a size 7 and they fit me fine. They have about a 2.5" heel and are just adorable...Judge for yourself from the pics - although the pics just don't do them justice!

They are listed as Item number: 220298456555 on EBAY. I paid over $50 for them...probably more considering where I bought them from and again - they are new and have never been worn. I'm selling them for $9.99. Add a little retro to your wardrobe...you'll not regret it!

Happy shopping....

Vineyard Vines...if you don't know about it - you should!

I love, love, love Vineyard Vines...Thanks to my ex and his mom! There skirts, dresses, etc are all super cute...Love the men's ties and belts. Truth be told, the polo from Vineyard Vines has to be my favorite...But really, my weakness are the skirts! Check out the website and you'll know why - either you love it or hate it (because some ppl hate preppy - don't hate!): http://www.vineyardvines.com/
So I have another Vineyard Vines skirt that will I'll be selling, but this one...this isn't my favorite out of all of the ones that I own and in actuality - my ex bought it for me and I am trying to get rid of some of some of the things that he gave me or that remind me of him....

I'm listing this on EBAY for $9.49. Why $9.49? I don't know - just figured it was a nice random number! I've worn it once. It's super cute...has clams and lobsters on it and the dominant color is RED. There is also some white and blue on it as well...Great for a day at the beach, a stroll on the boardwalk, a day in Newport, lunch with the ladies...It's listed as Item number: 220298426089 on EBAY. Hope it finds a happy home...that's all I want for my lovely items!

Handbags galore!!!!

If you love handbags as much as I do...then maybe you'll love these.

I lived on the East Coast for many years...and in the Northeast for a short period of time. I became OBSESSED with everything preppy (think Lily, Vineyard Vines, Polo Ralph Lauren, khakis, polos, flip flops, cute belts, JCrew, pink and green, eyelet, summer dresses, etc.).

I have a new lifestyle that doesn't quite lend itself to my Preppy Chic days, so I'm trying to off load some of these items on Ebay. Honestly, I love them, but I just won't use them as much on the West Coast...so I'm sharing them with you now...

This handbag is my MUNDI. It's a pretty pink fabric (ribbon) handbag that transforms into a clutch by tuck the chain into the bag. It's brand new. And yes...I paid full price for it. Thought I'd wear it to a wedding and never did. It's on EBAY as Item #: 220298431933. I've priced it at $4.99 plus s&h.

I love, love, love this clutch! It's made out of white cotton eyelet and has a gorgeous lime green bow (yes, my preppy chic girls - it's that yummy green that we all know and love!). It snaps closed and the inside is lined with a pretty pink fabric. It's by RITA WILCOX. I paid at least $25 for this - maybe more. It's brand new and never been used. I have another just like it that I prefer - because it's not white! I am selling this one EBAY and it is Item number: 220298437731. I'm selling it for $7.99 plus S&H.

INTRODUCTION....

Welcome to my blog! Let me tell you a little bit about why I created this...

I recently moved (several times and one of them cross country) and I've been going through all of my things and am slowly trying to minimize. One thing I realized - I have a TON of clothes...some I don't wear at all, some of it still has tags on it, some of it is brand new with NO tags because I've never worn it...and I'm embarassed to admit that I have a closet full of clothes that I just don't wear. Maybe my style has changed, maybe I've gained weight, or never had the item altered. My mom is infamous for buying me things and sending it to me...or maybe I just haven't been able to resist a GOOD DEAL!

I'm sure many of you are in the same boat!

So I decided to start posting some of my stuff on EBAY. I haven't had a HUGE success with it, but I have sold a few things. I decided to try it again. I mean - I've spent money on this stuff and I've already gotten rid of a bunch stuff just by dumping it off at Goodwill. I got to thinking, though, this stuff is still new for the most part...how do I recover some of the money i spent on it??? And...how do I get the word out!!???

Well - I decided to create this blog...I'll post my items that I have on EBAY and if you're interested go bid...You never know - maybe some ppl who normally wouldn't have taken a look on EBAY will see these. Give me some feedback, let me know what you think and Happy Shopping - on EBAY or otherwise.....
